L. Kornfield, Esq.
Donald Kornfield has been in private general practice with
offices in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania since 1974. He opened the current 17 North Church Street office in 1976. Don
offers general representation and has concentrated on real estate, business matters and associated litigation. Representation of landlords and creditors as well as individuals in divorce, custody cases, buying homes or writing wills are also regular service areas. He founded what is now Cumberland Valley Settlement Services in 1985 and has been a title insurance agent since 1980, now with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
Receiving a BA in political science in 1971 from Franklin
and Marshall College, Don graduated from law school at William
and Mary in 1974. He was admitted
to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court
in October of 1974, and is a member of the Pennsylvania andFranklin County Bar Associations and the Pennsylvania
Land Title Association.
Don was president of the Waynesboro Humane Society 1978 to 1984 and a scout leader with BSA Pack 88 1988 to 1994, serving as Cub Master 1991 to 1994. He and Brenda are members of the Five Forks Brethren In Chirst Church. Don is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Single Action Shooting Society with the alias Cowboy Curley. Don also enjoys sporting clays, gardening and camping with his wife Brenda and their cocker spaniel Starr.
Kimberly Runshaw has assisted Mr. Kornfield since 1983.
Kim graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School and
received her legal secretary certificate in 1980 from
Hagerstown Business College. She received her paralegal
certificate from Penn State University in 1991. Kim
is a notary and performs a wide range of services for
clients including interactions with creditors, executors,
and clients generally. |
